IT was a neighbourly affair in Los Angeles, when Delta Goodrem and Stephanie McIntosh surprised Jaime Robbie Reyne at his first solo gig overseas.

The former castmates -- and former The Mavis's singer Beki Colada Thomas -- caught up when Reyne performed his debut single Remember to Breathe at an industry showcase last week.

"It was quite a trip seeing Stef and Delta," Reyne said yesterday.

"I was just expecting some industry heads and a few rocker friends. They must have seen my website and rocked up out of the blue, it was a pleasant surprise."

Reyne said he would be catching up with newly single Goodrem again tonight with his DJ girlfriend, Rachel Phillips.

Reyne will head back to hometown Melbourne next month to launch his solo single.
